Re: 2.8 missing textures
ok, got the lighting to work, just did a full reinstall, but still no menu buttons to save and load, and I know how to do that through the console, so not a big deal, but my OCD demands a save and load button... XD

Re: 2.8 missing textures
Then I guess something must be wrong with my version of 2.8, because, 1, there's no new map or save map option when I hit either f1 or esc. (I attached a screenshot to show you what my menu looks like). Second, I don't know if it's something with the settings or what, but lighting does not work, at ...

Re: 2.8 missing textures
Ok, so I got the textures working, so now I have a new question. Where did the "new map" button go? I know how to create a new map in the console, but the fact that the button is missing is, frankly, driving me up a wall...

Re: door model triggers
Awesome, that worked. Thanks so much. One last question though, is there a way to make it start in sp mode? It defaults in co-op and I tried just putting "sp" in the script editor, (f6) but it just made the map crash.

Re: door model triggers
Well, as far as I know I'm using single player. I use the "sandbox launcher" and start my map with the following settings: res 1280x800 shaders low vsync off Also, where it has the tabs (fps, ssp, rpg, server, client, moviecube) I use the fps option, then press the launch button there. htt...

door model triggers
Ok, I've looked around for a bit now, and I haven't found an answer to my specific question. During version 2.6 of sandbox, if you placed, for example door_03, on a map, and used f3 to edit its properties, you could set it to trigger type 10 and a radius of whatever, and when you entered the radius ...
