for the 2d icons/textures i liked the quake 3 arena approach, it was just the same icon that was there on the ammo bin for that weapon

plus I think it would be worthwhile in the end.

I like the concept very much, the sand pouring out from the bucket. Although I think that the fonts could have a more handwritten/personal feel to them.
what about the sand pouring and molding the shape of a castle? or a world? or something. i like the direction of it so far.
