Wondering if some code can be produced that will change the colour and shape of the interactive speech panels .....example below ....this would make it easier for people who want to produce comics.
Just an idea
Excuse the stupid spelling on the picture ...tiered

I don't know this 100% but I think reconstructing the GUI like that would be very hard. However, perhaps there could be something worked with a gui theme that would have a similar effect. Perhaps there are menu tweaks as well that could further enhance things, hmm.
I am really excited about this comic idea and I hope you saw my post Stefos where I posted your stuff on the front page and moddb page. Also sometime soon I would like to try to gather what free comic creation stuff there is so we can see what kinds of things we can create. The Gimp does have a cartoon plugin which might work nicely too if people want an alternative to rotoscope. Also maybe there are some ways we could tweak rotoscope and make even more variations. There are a ton of possibilities. Take care and thanks so much Stefos for leading the charge on this

The Gimp is an excellent program and I use it a lot myself when doing picture touch-ups for the web. There are a lot of plug-ins for the Gimp maybe I will find something for comic creation.

The Gimp has many filters and is great at making a comic type picture then saving your work in a number of formats.
OpenOffice is a full word-processing software ....the draw part of the package allows you to add frames and balloons.
See below of an example of comic page made with OpenOffice
Hope this help any budding comic developer
Extra note OpenOffice has a great range of export modes including PDF (GREAT FOR DISTRIBUTION OF COMICS) Also html

The first chapter of Grizzly Times In The Village is now complete all 21 pages. Because the story is sort of running on a bit I am developing a second chapter which I hope will be completed soon which will be called Grizzly Times In The Village And The Search Of The Red Apple, this will be a separate comic.
Hmmm maybe that should be The Search For The Red Apple urgh I can change it later.
Nice work, I can't believe how quickly you pounded out those comics! Also I can't believe how awesome Cavern2 looked in comic form, nice job! Also I think it is really neat you created an original story out of the basic village concept, great work! I can't wait to see what is in store for him in his next adventures haha. If you are serious about keeping this up, we could even link it from the homepage as a permanent link. Thanks so much for this, it is quite inspiring! I hope others take off with it too because it is certainly fun to read. Take care and have an awesome night!
