just uploaded a vwep folder to the svn repo. before the website went down. it includes a quite crude water pistol model.
I plan on remodeling this though as I was not quite satisfied with how it came out, but it'll do for now.
Currently it only loads with offtools unihuman character. to check it out fire up the dev version of sandbox and type this in console; playermodel 7
Its an md3 for now though. I couldn't get an md5 of it to load for some reason. would get this error.

could not load packages/models/vwep/pistol/pistol.md5mesh
could not find bone tag_flash for tag tag_muzzle
not loading an md3

I did have a bone named tag_flash parented to the pistol and a tag at the end named tag_muzzle :?
any idea on what us wrong here would be much appreciated

heres some screenshots:

I think looks pretty good. Better than anything I could model. :D

Speaking of Water Wars... It would be cool if there were water balloons. Just a suggestion though.

Wow that looks awesome! How did you skin the face so nicely? Is that stuff on the SVN yet? Take care!

I used the new 'texture projection' feature in blender 2.49. Such an awesome new feature! I could literally project any of the devs faces on the characters with this tool :D
I haven't committed any skins yet, im gonna wait until i have the head, torso, and leg skins done. Before this tool was added to blender this could only be done (projecting textures from images)
with proprietary software like zbrush/mudbox/3dcoat.

Ive run into quite a problem though. The mesh offtools committed has a bunch of unmerged/doubled vertices which results in some very obvious ugly seams that you can see in the screen shot below.

I could more than likely fix this if I can get the .blend offtools was working with. Or worst comes to worst start a new character in unihuman, which I'm seriously considering at this point.
If I were to do that how would I go about making it so I can load a playermodel 8 from the console?
