teleporting from different maps on server

Was wondering why I couldn't teleport from one map to another on the server(multiplayer mode).

The things worked fine in normal mode though when I get do it on the server it won't work. There is nothing on this on the forum so I was just asking.

unless you hard code it, everyone on a server has to be on a map

What do you mean on a map? Do you mean on that map?

So is there some place, coding, person, or something I need to find or do get. Or where is there I have to edit to make it work. Like what file or something. That be helpful as well. I don't want to edit the wrong file and crash the entire software.

all i know is right now everyone would have to be on one map
