[SOLVED] Blurry loadingscreen title
Why is the Sandbox title (look under data/loadingscreen, it's title.png) always so blurry? I've tried modifying it, and my new version has a doubled size and increased ppi ratio, but looks even worse. The original looks quite ugly as well (which it did before I made a new title). Can someone (I'm really thinking Hirato here) help me understand this?

BUMP!
Since I just edited this today, and it was originally made in November of 2010, I'm bumping this so hopefully some people can see this. And maybe provide a solution.

Re: Blurry loadingscreen title
in short, your GPU or drivers suck and sandbox has automatically set maxtexsize to 256 to accommodate it.
If you want, change the value of maxtexsize to something much higher or to 0 and it should remove/reduce the blurriness, assuming the hardware allows a texsize above 256.

This is not a url, clicking it is pointless

Re: Blurry loadingscreen title
alright, thanks... just one thing.
did you just say that an image is rendered as text? Weird.
EDIT: now that that's done, I've gotta say... that looks incredible. Thanks again.

I would rather say Hirato meant texture... Seems a bit more realistic, but that's just me.chocolatepie33 wrote:did you just say that an image is rendered as text? Weird.
