Can be changed the grid orientation?

By default the faces of the square grid are parallel to the faces of the square given by the map terrain, I would like to rotate at some points the grid orientation 45º in order to make walls with this orientation; I'v gone with reorient and rotate comands, but haven't got the dessired effect.

Can be done what I want?, and if so, How?

It's impossible, you could use models to build 45º, or you could just use the current grid to build that way (it's hard, but possible)

I've got a lot of experience with this engine, and I still don't do it, it's easier and it looks better as well to just make the houses face 0º, 90º, 180º or 270º

The broken chimneys of the ruins of Arus are 45°.
Once you have a wall you can copy&paste, it is easy.
