what to do when starting an rpg?

ok... i just loaded up my old tutorial map from 'my maps', and i had pies and apples where the bags were suppose to be... then i loaded it from 'games' and everything was back to what is was suppose to be... then i loaded it from 'my maps' again, and everything was as it was suppose to be...

sounds like a bug... it is loading up the wrong config, just as mine did the first time... try loading it from the 'games' pallet, and start again, testing it after every step...

I had a similar issue, for some reason the default scripts are being picked up even though I am starting the RPG with my map
as a -l option.
I had to load my map manually in order for it to pick up my config and then it still refers to some of the default scripts.
I am very excited for PAS 2.8!!!!! Hopefully it is still on target.

Your map and your game are completely different concepts, and the RPG module treats them as such..
I should probably change the behaviour of the -l option to load a game rather than a map for the RPG...

This is intended behaviour, If you load your map without having a game in progress, it loads up the default game's definitions.
Otherwise it just loads the map and uses the currently loaded game's definitions.

I have switched to starting a new game so that now my changes are picked up.
