Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me out - i just downloaded sanbox version 2.3. I have a windows 7 computer, AMD graphics card ATI raedon HD 4200. Within a few minutes of being into the game creator, it just crashes and sends me back to the launch box. Thsi happens every time. I dont if its an issue with my video card which I cannot change out, the resolution it is set at, or maybe a windows 7 problem? Does anyone have any advice for me? I am double clicking the exe launcher to use it. Thank you.

I'd recommend switching from 2.3 to 2.6.1 or just wait for 2.7 to come out (which will be soon).

PAS can have problems with AMD cards, but not with all (my 5830 works fine).
I suggest using the CLICK_ME_TO_START.BAT instead of the launcher too, and of course the newest version (2.6.1. for now)

Good news everyone! Um... Actually, just Space_Pup... I use an identical rig to you. Switching to 2.6.1 (Or SVN 2.7) fixed the crash issue. Head on down to the wiki and try to obtain the development version. Here: Obtaining Development Version - Windows How-to
