Creatures not appearing in FPS

The creatures won't appear no matter what! I know how to do this, but they are not appearing!
TRIED
-Uninstalling/Reinstalling
-Changing to defaults
-Restarting Computer
What do I do?????

If I remember correctly, creatures only show up in FPS single-player mode.
