Ubuntu PAS 2.6.1 not working

hey guys iv just installed Ubuntu on one of my computers and I installed 2.6.1 PAS from the software center but when i click start game it just flashes a black screen and goes back to the desktop.

How can i fix this?

I was also wondering, What is the directory that sandbox installed into? so i can script my maps ;)


P.S. : Remember I'm new to Linux and don't know anything :)

install drivers, sandbox needs OpenGL
Those would probably be the "mesa" packages.
This is not a url, clicking it is pointless

how do i install OpenGL mesa on Ubuntu?
