How can I flip the triangle orientation of a quad?

Post by chin88 »

Hi guys,

I'm new to sandbox and have run into my first snag. Given up on googling this so I turn to you seasoned Sandboxers.

I'm well aware that the quads on the ground of the level are made of two triangles. What I would like to know is if there is a way to change the way the triangles are oriented on any given quad on the ground, as I have illustrated.

Can this be done?

Why do you need to have this done? I could provide you with a solution or workaround if I knew why you needed this done. If you're trying to make an arch, for example, then that's just a matter of which way you use your scroll wheel. If it's a texturing thing, then I can see why you would ask. Anyways, I'll reply once I understand why you need to have this done.
