I'm new here, and want to know how to do certain things

Well, I found this game by finding a video of it on YouTube when searching something about sandbox games.

I like this alot, but I was wondering these things.

How do I join a server? I try and look at the server list, but it keeps saying "master server not replying".

Also, is there any AIs, and if there is, how do I place them?

How do I spawn and use weapons?

Is there other Aavatars I can use other than this cool looking tron-like cat thing?

Can I put in fall damage?

Can I make like a stair case and suicide my character so I can play stair dismount with it?

Also, how would I, or can someone make a map based off of Hollow Bastion or something as tricky and surreal as it?

Also, if there is any, how do I add and use vehicles?

1.To join a server first someone has to host a server. Currently the master server is not working.
2.sorry for my notknowingness but what is an AI?
3.To spawn weapons you have to place a mapmodel.
4. To use weapons... Thats to difficult to explain here.
5.you mean the models which you move with? If you mean that just press 0, you can add them yourself but I dont have time to explain atm.
6.I dont think you can put in fall damage put you can use respawn material, so if you go through it youll die.

An AI as in a computer opponent. A programed enemy or ally.

about the AI
Yes Its possible just check the rpg version of sandbox (I mean the 2.3.1) Through It doesnt have the latest functions of sandbox, the quest system enemies and NPC-s are perfect

Can I make like a stair case and suicide my character so I can play stair dismount with it?
I have made staircase in my map you can check it out: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=464 (I will change the megaupload link soon(that is not allowed in this forum))

Just experiment with stuff and use different lights

Also, if there is any, how do I add and use vehicles?
You can place platforms which move but vehicles as such are not supported.

Vehicles aren't supported?! Aw mann

..... But I was Looking at A Sandbox video (NOT the train map), and In That video, an Ogre was riding a car. Are you sure theyr'e not supported?

To the best of my own knowledge, they are not supported at this time.

That was a platform

It might have looked like a car

Or the other option... It might´ve been kartmode which is currently not supported.

That was me playing cartmode in 2.3. I haven't tried it in 2.4 and not sure if I even included the folder for it. To load kartmode in 2.3 requires you to go into mod folder and launch it from there and also make sure you have your top level .cfgs deleted. It does work. Take care.

Aww I always thought kartmode cannot be played on later versions so I downoaded sandbox Beta 2 release
