Editing spells

Hey all i just have a quick question about editing spells,

now i know how to edit damage and mana etc by getting into map_rpg but i am curious as to how you actually change the animation on the spells.....such as turning fireball into a cannon etc etc

anyone that could give me advice on this would be greately appreciated

unfortunately i dont know the answer to that one, i think its something to do with registering effects and adding a model if you want a cannon ball style effect. Im guessing you want to make a cross between an RPG and an FPS. it would be best if you used the WW mod or the REGEN mod for this, yet they are both under construction. Im with a group whos creating the REGEN mod, and obsidian, mike, chaze007 and Hirato are making the WW mod. Im more of a model importer. I import existing models from the cube/cube 2 engines and set them up on PAS. same with textures.
