How do you password protect a server?

you must edit server launcher...

can someone make me an example server, because when ever i do it, it never works, it won't even let me save it.....

What exactly are you trying to do with the server? It's not clear exactly what you're trying to accomplish here...

It appears that's for admin powers only, from the documentation on that param. I'll try poking Hirato about it later for clarification, if I get the chance.

you should see a file named server-init in your top level directory
if you open ti up, you'll see a variable named "serverpass" that is being giving an empty string
insert something there

now to connect to this server, you'd need to use the third argument of connect
ie
/connect IP PORT(28786 by default I think) PASSWORD
This is not a url, clicking it is pointless
