I am using sandbox in my animation class. The kids are having lots of fun but it seems there are some kids that think messing with other peoples maps would be lots of fun. Is there a way to tell sandbox where to save a map (such as the students my documents folder that is secure) and to reopen that map for later editing?

Is there something wrong with the my_stuff folder?

That's where all map files are placed when saved.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it is installed on a network drive that all the kids can get to. I know it is not ideal but it is what it is until I can get the tech dept to install it on each computer. So the my_stuff folder is available to everyone, hence the kids jacking with other kids maps.

there probably is a way to, however, I don't know, you'd have to ask someone high up. It would require modifying the file which says where to save the maps.

found the maps. Thanks guys. Maybe this is something that can be added to future releases since so many schools use the program?

I'd say tell that to Mike.

Since this program can be run of thumbdrives, can't you have everyone bring in a thumbdrive and label them? this can ensure 100% safety of maps as long as the thumbdrives aren't stolen.
