Hi,
I apologize if this question has already been asked. I for myself have been unable to find it myself so I figured I would ask around on the forums. I was wondering how I would go about adding a cut scene into my game. Would it be possible to play back a movie file or would I have to do the scene in real-time with the engine? If it is possible, does anyone mind showing me how or pointing me in the right direction? Thanks a lot!

The scene would have to be created in-game. I personally have not tried it out, but if you look under the data/RPG folders you'll find the code used to enable the example RPG cutscene.

I'd try this here: http://sandboxgamemaker.com/wiki/index. ... G_cutscene

Re: Sandbox Cutscenes? Movie Playback? Possible?
I believe by using the in-game method I would have to construct a scene in a script and then run that when I wish the cut scene to play? Thank you very much for the responses!
