Platinum Arts Sandbox - Free 3D Game Maker Forum

Hey I was wondering if there is a entity that allows aircraft, and if not would it be possible to create a map model possibly and have preset crafts that are fully functional* such as biplanes, blimps, UFO's.
I thought that would be really cool to park your space craft in you garage or something. And I know that cars are already available but what mode do you have to be in and how do you use them?
Any feedback and help would be much appreciated, thanks

*fully functional meaning controls allowing: up, down, left, right, speed up, slow down, and landing gear/ land. (speed up and slow down could be PgUp and PgDn)

we have our KRS (vehicle simulator) mode, I don't know much about it though, sorry. You could replace the car model with your own if you want a spaceship, that could work.

I know about the car simulator, and I'm trying to learn it myself, but I was thinking more of a vehicle able to trave all three dimensions not just along the ground.

At some point I believe that someone was working on a flight simulator.... tho the project probably died...

well i hope not. and if the project did die......maybe someone would be willing or interested in taking it up? i have sorta taken an interest in programming and would be more than happy to learn.

well, if you feel like it, I recommend you start learning as much as you can about C++, that's what most of Sandbox is made of.
