I copyied the code from savetheprincess to #2 and expected it to work. I didnt download the patch but i used the help from the wiki to make the code and it works in #1 but not in #2. I rewrote the whole script, or at least tried!! Im a total nob so i probably messed it up. Anyway offer some help if you know what to do.

Thanks
-Danny

Did you do this part? (copied from Mike)
After that, you start up Sandbox and make an invisible mapmodel near the character that will talk. Select the invisible model and press the . key. Then change the third number to a 1 and the forth number to a 1. Press enter, and you should have a talking character.

after you make the config file, new map model (mine wasn't invisible but worked), edit attiributes (easier to hit F3 then change both trigger identity and style to 1) see if it works.

If not, save your map then type this in (press ` first)

/sp <yourmapname. it will kinda reload. Then try

I kinda figured it out. I got mine invisable but it wouldnt talk. What you do is you go to edit GUI go to entitys click new mapmodel then in the part it says R G B make them all 0 and it should be invisable then just spawn it.

Hope it helps
