Im looking for a .md3 or .md5 exporter for 3ds max

well, I am trying to contribute some of my models to this fourm, but i can not find a exporter for 3ds max 2009 to export .mds or .md5 models. now I figure you guys would know considering this is the format you all use. thanks

i say this,

great, ill do my best

I am having a problem, I cant export my models with a pyisyic modifier, so i am having to re rig all my guys with a skin modifier,lol.

Is rigging all your models with a skin modifier a lot of extra work?

yes and no, but concidering im plaining on switching to this game engine I will need the practice any how. so dont worry, ill have them all in game soon. I was wondering when i do get them in game, how do i load my effect files on my animated guys. is it done in the script of the .conf file?

The effect files? i wouldnt know but everything that you want to do comes strickyly from the cfg in the models folder.
