I was just wondering how flexible Sandbox was in terms of allowing me to use my own 3d models and textures? I get the impression that whilst this can be done, it is limited in that I have to replace existing textures and models - is that correct?
From the demo's and videos I have seen so far they all seem to have a similar look - is that because of limitations of Sandbox in terms of the resources it can use?
Although the "About" section claims Sandbox is capable of full game projects I'm not entirely so sure.It would be great if someone could point out one or two examples or projects that look completely different - i.e you would never know they were made with Sandbox, if any exist.
Regards,
Dud

Re: Custom models and textures
It is not limited to make models and textures in sandbox.... You dont have to replace stuff, you can add new ones so the old ones remain. You just have to either download and add or make and add your textures and models into sandbox. The models must be either md2, md3 or md5 format, thats the only limitation I am aware of. There havent yet been made very much games with sandbox so its hard to point out two completely different games.
