Hi MikeMike wrote:Stefos keep up the awesome work, I love reading your comics! As a note, it seems you are posing your models outside of Sandbox and then putting them on the Sandbox background. Is this correct, or are you actually posing them in SB? Take care and keep up the awesome work!

PS when do I get my music
The first Comic "Grizzly Times In The Village" was mostly created with models on the map... However for the other comics for speed and ease of use for me...I placed the actors in front of a green screen on the map. I built a map with a large room turned the textures to Cell Type then simply took pictures of the actors in different poses moved the view around the actor to get different angles. Then imported the actors into The Gimp and simply cut out the green background then saved as a png file. The actors png files can now be easily used over and over again in different comics. However sometimes when using certain maps I like to use the actor on the map and take my shots. The following shot was taken on map and really couldn't be done the cut out method as the colours are so strong and I would have to try and match colours of my cut-out actors with the map which would not have been as good as this shot. The new Bic story will mostly be done on map

Over the next few months I will be trying to import my own models into Sandbox and see how this works out and adding new textures onto the maps if I get the hang of importing my own models then you should see some nice comics in the future.
The "Time Traveller" Comic I am planning to replace the textures and build my own maps and also import the models this will also be an on-map comic.
The "Traveler" sets have mostly been built on one map which I have named Toon Town, the same will be done with most of the new comics in the future and with I hope the actors doing their stuff.
Glad you are enjoying the comics......."Bic's Really Big Adventure" which I am writing now as a play format.....this is going to be a giant of a story so I have changed the format of usually making it up as I go along to a proper written story (note: this will be released as one full story and not separate chapter downloads like the last story) , then when I am finished I can start the map building and the placement of the actors....take the shots then import the text. This I hope should show a more professional finish to the comic. Depending on feedback from the Bic's latest and biggest adventure I will either write further adventures of Bic or try something new with the sandbox characters.
The music you asked for is difficult as I used I think about 8 different pieces of music, if I give you a straight rip from the video it will have silent spaces between the tracks. So I have to edit the music after I rip it. I simply have had no time to do this yet. With 3 comics now on the go it takes a lot of my spare time....and Virtual Elounda is now collecting dust

Should have the music sorted soon !
And as a added note I built a new website on my new servers http://www.comix-sandbox.com .....busy busy busy
