Re: "Project TS" - An MMORPG.
Lol, thanks. Again, feel free to download the album if you haven't ;D
Actually, yes, that song was about drugs, but it was a sad song. Now, why would I write a sad song about doing drugs? Because drugs are bad. If anything I'm teaching kids a lesson that if you do drugs, your life will be bad. I should get an award! (Besides, the word Drug in a title to an instrumental isn't as bad as 90% of what is on TV..)

I have a couple answers, however I don't know if any of them are the right ones.
1. You used Mega Upload which isn't allowed on the Sandbox Forums due to inappropriate content. Show Off Your Work
2. Seeing as this is a kid friendly site, the mention of drugs in your song may not have been allowed (while you probably didn't mean to have anything bad).
Just some ideas.

Re: "Project TS" - An MMORPG.
Ok, I'm perfectly fine with #1. I was actually hoping the reason was something like that. I just used MegaUpload as a temporary upload site until I got it on my site. Thanks for your answers Arcones, I appreciate it.arcones wrote:I have a couple answers, however I don't know if any of them are the right ones.

Anyways, back to the game, I'll start writing a summary right now and it should be up later tonight.

Re: "Project TS" - An MMORPG.
Here is what I wrote today, it's not done, but Vikadin wasn't on today so we couldn't really write it together. This explains some of the overview and the 3factions/classes, but there is a bit more that needs explaining.
_______________________
"Project TS" is the working title for an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role playing game) being created by Daniel Wade and Ronnie Neeley with the Cube 2 engine. The game features 3 factions in a never ending war, fighting for supremacy. Players create their character, align themselves to a faction, choose a class, and begin their adventure. The game is set to feature 3 distinct factions (including faction specific armor, styles of combat, maps, music, quests, and other various items) as well as high paced combat. The game does not have a lock-on system, forcing players to interact with the game more by actually moving their characters with their WASD keys, while using their mouse to pick direction as well as execute moves. The game is set to be free to play, with an option cash-shop to enhance various aspects of the game.
The game has three, as of now, unnamed factions:
"Moon Faction": The holy faction, they are based off of angels. They inhibit "Sky Islands". While the fastest faction, they are less powerful. (Keep in mind, less powerful is a relative term, it is important the reader does not obtain the impression they are weak.)
"Earth Faction": The middle faction, they are based off of humans. They inhibit an island kingdom. They are in between the two factions, being faster than the Sun Faction/slower than the Moon Faction, Stronger than the Moon Faction/Weaker than the Sun Faction.
"Sun Faction": The evil faction, they are based off of demons. They inhibit a dark underground kingdom. While the slowest faction, they are more powerful.
Each faction shares the same 3 classes:
Warrior: Warriors are more powerful but slower compared to the other classes. Their armor is the most protective.
Ranged: Ranged units are weaker than warriors, but have the distinct advantage of being able to attack at a distance. Ranged units are quicker, but their armor is subsequently less protective than the Warrior.
Mage: Mage units are different than the other units in that they are considered support units. While not as confrontation as the other classes, they are still just as deadly, if not more. While playing as a mage is considerably harder, they can become more powerful than the Warrior.
(note that the 3 factions share the same 3 classes. Each unit though has faction-specific items.)

Um not to put TS down because I really REALLY hope this comes out... For an MMORPG, you need server coding... Regen at least can be a single player campaign.
btw Ronnie, this sounds awesome
