Im making a new map with 2.7.0 PAS
its an outdoor map on and island and its at night
iv changed the skybox to starfield but how do i darken the map so its night looking?
right now my buildings and ground are bright how do i darken them?

add a small light far away from the area that you play in, and it darkens the map, just having a light in map, also after you place the light. press " ` " and type calclight

I advise you select the light you use as the moon and set the colors to "80 80 80". Might make it look a little better.

try using /ambient 0 (ambient sets the minimum amount of light a surface can get, this obviously makes it 0 light)
and /skylight ### ### ###. This creates a skylight, which lights up the whole map pretty evenly. Using it with values of 255 255 255 gives you this pretty cool ambient-occlusion kind of look.
