First of all, thank you for your kind words! The reason it's CC BY NC SA is because it's for the inclusion in Sandbox. That was the original plan. I may end up changing it for you (or in fact, making different ones for you), but for right now their staying that way.

You can And yeah, I planned on adding bump/normal/specular to them.... before I got sidetracked TO MAPZONE!

To answer CP's point: I won't add spec or displacement maps to any of my textures. The latest batch looked fine without them and they only end up ruining it with a horrible glare. (Tony has mentioned it with his textures and I've seen it with the phillipk textures).
The glare is OK in some situations, or not so much actual glare, but some shininess.
Me thinks me has a grip on that now though.
The real trick about using the specularity is to be careful how and where you place lights.
Now, that same thing can be used for good effect, but it can also burn badly.
Characters with too bright light built onto them will also over-glare or reflect badly if you move the player close to specular-textured terrain. Special care must be taken when making the character model to avoid this and yet light the model nicely.
