I took a look at BuddyBoss, and I didn't like it.
First of all there are less registered users, because you created a completely new site, which meant that all there stuff was lost. Secondly BuddyPress looks relatively to Dolphin unprofessionally (e.g. the standard avatars). The easy video and images posting is a reason too, but not the main one.
By the way, you've a spam post again.
