Hi I would like to create a map based on an Island I used to adventure on as a kid, I'm wondering if there is an automatic process to create a game map from a topographical map I have as a time saver?
Cheers.

Re: use a topographical map?
You may want to convert to an obj, and use the height as a mapmodel. But you may fall through. I hope this works, as it's a great idea.
Freelance PAS user good at building RPG maps and designing interiors. Hates texturing though...

This is an outdated topic, but if you're still watching, you may want to look into http://www.quadropolis.us/node/3584, the "Sauerbraten Editing Utilities", included is a random terrain generator. However, it may not work with 2.8, especially with the new scripting and UI. Which, actually, I'm going to ask about.
