How to install Platinum Arts Sandbox

I just downloaded, what I believe is, the newest version of Platinum Arts Sandbox School Edition and I can't figure out how to install it. When I downloaded it there was a file that's name was: PlatinumArtsSandbox2.8 (1).2SchoolEditionWindows[1] that I can't open at all. I'm using a Windows 8 laptop and got the download here: http://www.moddb.com/games/platinum-art ... 282-school

How big is the filesize? If it wasn't at least higher than 400mb, I would say you had trouble downloading it. Other than that if the filename is as you told PlatinumArtsSandbox2.8 (1).2SchoolEditionWindows[1] without .exe extension maybe it was because of the naming fault. Mine was named PlatinumArtsSandbox2.8.2SchoolEditionWindows.exe. Hope this helps

Yes the file was over 400mb. The exact file size was 414mb.
