the 2.5 release is out, so want to take the opportunity to open a thread to discuss future releases. so its open:

ok let me begin:
general ideas (all mods):
*different map directories for every mod (loading / saving maps), ui should only provide map of the started mod (???)
*vlc integration (hirato | offtools)
*wiki documentation of all mods
*script created gameplay huds with text and icons (for mini games ...)
ideas/plans for MovieCube:
*bug fixes (offtools)
*code cleanup (offtools)
*more guis
*new models (with better armature) based on modified unihuman project (offtools)
*add and switch character states (offtools)
*documentation of all new commands, wiki
*video tutorial
just a proposal, comments are welcome. feel free to add a request or add your name to the list thanks. hope that starts a discussion.

Well I think I posted this in the comix area but it would be nice to see speech balloons in as an option for making comics and such. More filters like the excellent Rotoscope effect.

I would like model bounding boxes to cover every part of the model instead of of having a big box around it...if that makes since. One of the reasons i want this is lets say you have a car model you can't get inside of it just the box covering it are a house model you can't go in it because the bounding box.

can you make it so when you type /savemap when you load a map saves a map under that name, that would be really helpful

Just like to see a load object (for.objformat 3d models) and a load texture, file requester, This would make life much easier/

a texture must fit to the models uv mapping or you will get a garbaged skin. thatswhy loading random textures for does not make sense.

if you load a map and edit it, savemap without name is working. only after newmap you have to specify the mapname every time. maybe we should change this.PizzaLover101 wrote:yeah, I got that, but I just type /savemap
