New Particle Effects

Post by Firelight »

Hi, I was wondering how do I add a new particle effects.

I assume I have to edit the src?

What I'm trying to do is duplicating the snowing effect and make it use a custom png texture instead.

Anyone has any idea how do I achieve this?

Thanks in advance. :)

there's 3 ways

1) replace the current snow
2) edit the source in src/renderparticles
3) give me the art and I'll add it in if it's of sufficient qualify
This is not a url, clicking it is pointless

Hi there :D

I was trying to make a falling leaves effect, and if you would kindly add it I would really appreciate it :)

I tried it in game and it seems kinda weird due to glowing effects and tiny size. I would like to ask if it's possible to randomly rotates the image, just like how leaves do when they fall off?

Here's the link for it:

I'm going to need a license before I add it into sandbox, I'd recommend CC-BY-SA

I also grayscaled the image, so that the colouring mechanisms can be used on it

license limits the usage of your texture. If you dont have a license I could take your texture and say that I made it. I recommend you to use creative commons licence.

Get and use a CC license!

Try googling it if you're having problems!

Arc :geek:

P.S. I think this might help! Creative Commons License ;)
Have fun!
