Here is a WIP of cityrun
still tons and tons of stuff to do, but its mostly blocked out except for building interiors.
still need to test to make sure players can get *everywhere* they're meant to go.

Heh, Nice map, but, just a little Idea, if its a Parkour map, roofs, walls, and high areas would have a few wooden beams and bricks to ensure that you can jump across a certain gap. If you add a few of these and make a game out of it with items that you need to pick up and stuff. I guarantee a great map.

yeah, really nice map, I agree with Leo, you have to be able to come on every rooftop in the map, but not to easy, I hope you can do that

That's my goal...I want every area to be accessible, even if it involves a tricky way to get there.
This is still a WIP and might be a WIP for a long time. I want there to be some secret areas too.
But I'm still only in the block-out phase so far.
I'll be adding flagpoles off buildings and a couple of awnings with jumppads on them so they can be bounced off of like diving boards, for example.
I already have 10 buildings' interiors mapped out ( no detail work yet )
so far, its all geometry with no mapmodels ( no platform entities or barrel entities yet, which could help getting to hard areas )

just a map
the movement in sandbox or sauerbraten is too simplistic for a decent parkour game.
you can run strafe or jump and that's pretty much it.
adding crouching, double-jumping/wall-running and the ability to hang off ledges with your hands/climb_ropes/tightrope_walking ( like in lego batman game ) would be desirable. Maybe I could see what wall-running might be like by importing it into blood frontier.
but for now...just a map

There already is kart mode... (this is more for the discussion thread...) but are you talking about PvP? or lots of live people racing each other?
