Download Cube 2. The AI is already set up, you also have guns but less abilities to code.

I'd gladly do that, but apparently i can't download it, so i've simplified the scripting needs down to this: I need one person to talk to me, and once im done i go pick up an item then when i go back he says something different, then gives me three choices, after i make a choice he tells me some more then i go get the item he described, then after i come back he says something different once again then gives me the other two choices i had before, after i choose he gives me the same description i would have got before if i chose that option, then after that i would go get the next item he describes and when i come back he tells me something that once again, is different, then he tells me about the final option, and i go get the item he describes, then when i come back he tells me one final thing. im hoping somebody can do this much. if you have any questions just PM me, don't use e-mail because i haven't been checking it.

P.S.: i would like the three items to be DIFFERENT i.e. an apple, a key, and a magic (at least that's what it's called, it's just a little jug-like thing)

Okay, Im not so great on the RPG side of things. When R17 Comes out, you can hack, chop and butcher the code until you find the part that you want.

problem is i have until wednsday to do this, i've got the map handled, just the script is a pain in the butt.

I can answer the door question. "Open door without key" Place a door model click "." while pointing at the model and set the trigger type to 10 and hit enter and that should do it. And also make sure your in "RPG Mode". "Open door with key" set door trigger type to 11 and trigger level to 1, place any model set the trigger type to 12 and trigger level to 1. Walk up to the "key" model and the door should open. Send me a message if you have any more questions.

Okay.... what Mode is the script for? What items do you want? What effects do you want? and as for GR1Ms plan of a door opening trick... I have better... Ill give you a code if you tell me how many doors you want, how many keys you want and that sort of stuff. Ill generate you an RPG Script. Let me know what youre wanting for them.

well i've got the doors figured out, it's just the other part that i need: I need a robochimp to talk to me when i get close to it, and once im done talking i go pick up an apple then when i go back he says something different because i have the item. After that he then gives me three choices, each of them referring to a different item (flat book, goblet, coin). After i make a choice he tells me some more then i go get the item related to the choice. After i come back he says something different again because i got one of the items. after getting the item, that choice would be knocked of the list of choices. Then he gives me the other two choices i had before, after i choose he gives me the same description i would have got before if i chose that option, then after that i would go get the item referred to in that description and when i come back he tells me something different that, once again, is because i now have the item referred to in the option, then he tells me about the final option, and i go get the item he refers to, then when i come back he tells me one last thing. after this i go to another person and he would tell me one thing.
example:
(walk up to robochimp)
stan "welcome back. you've been in the cryo-tube for a while, why don't you walk around a bit to get your bearings. Once your done go get that apple"
(end conversation) (pickup apple and walk back)
stan "looks like your getting your doing well, now i have a serious task for you. just recently we've gotten word of the three keys containing the information we need to work the sattelite we were getting word about before you went into the cryo-tube. your the fastest and cleverest of us so we chose you to retreive these items, once you are done getting these items the elder wants to see you, he is in his hut behind this building. the items are a book, a coin, and a goblet, i'll let you choose which one you want to go for first."
(gives choice of the goblet, the coin, or the book) (click on goblet)
Stan "The goblet lies to the east, in the mountains. if you climb on top of the building you can see the compass on the ground."
(end conversation) (pickup goblet and go back)
stan "good work. [robochimp pushes a button on the globlet pushing out a small cord and plugging it into the computer] the goblet tells us about how to power the sattelite."
(gives choices of the book or the coin) (click on book)
stan " the book lies north in the icy sea. if you climp up on top of the building you can see the compass on the ground."
(end conversation) (pickup book and go back)
stan "good work [robochimp put the book in a box in the computer] the book tells us that the sattelite is located at 627.3338.7779, very interesting.
(gives choice of the coin) (click on the coin)
stan "he coin lies to the west in the ring of volcanoes, i fear it may be within somewhere near the center of the lava field. if you climb up on top of the building you can see the compass"
(end conversation) (pickup coin and come back)
stan " good work [robochimp pushes on the edge of the coin causing a small cord to come out, he then plugs it into the computer] the coin tells us how to work the weapons on the sattelite"
(end convertaion) (go to elder)
elder "hello Seth ,i am pleased your assistance, but i must ask one more thing of you, i would like you to venture south beyond the wall, you will find a door going through the wall, once there you will receive further information. good luck."
(end conversation) (walk through door which ends game [ this part i've figured out])

no, that's okay. i guess i'll have to just try scripting it myself, hopefully it'll work. just one last question, when i go to script it, what .cfg file do i use. the map is called project and i have like 10 different files where it is called project_########.cfg , the number signs being random numbers and then i have one file called project-art.cfg

when editing your map go to Editing GUI In the menu. Then go to cfg. Type anumber in and save. Look for your map config then.
